clay and colored pencil project

I am very proud of my clay project because it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. The hardest part about molding the food was trying to get it hollow and still have the right shape of the meal. I love the hash browns and the way they still have a rugged edge. I also really like how the bananas turned out. The hardest part of this project was getting the right color on the toast and apples. Because I used glaze, I couldn't blend the colors together as well or use the right kind of value. My favorite color on the meal was the butter and the bananas. It looks real! I was not as happy about the Oreo. In the picture I used to go by, the light was on the oreo making it look more brown. After I finished though, I tried to put black over it too but it just made the picture look more scribbly. My value was difficult to get all in and because there was a lot of different sections to do. My favorite part of this Oreo is the outside rim. I think it looks almost real except it's way darker than the rest of the oreo. Overall, I am proud of what I have accomplished and I learned a lot from it.
